More testosterone produces more pheromones (like adrostenone) and makes u more? attractive to women. Eat an all meat diet (with addition of a little butter for digestion) and ur good to go.

In response to the guy below me saying to "eat an all-meat diet" please don't do that.

Regardless of how low-carb you want to go, you? NEED the nutrients in non-starchy vegetables ... They're incredibly low-carb and exceptionally healthy.

@Iingocode regarding protein you state: "research shows (detailed? by Dr Doug Graham in 80/10/10), anything above 10% has adverse health effects."

That is so untrue it's almost funny. Millions of people get more protein than that without issue, and have for thousands of years. Yes, the US RDA for protein for SEDENTARY people has a low-minimum, but anybody active that wants any amount of muscle needs more.

I eat 35% of my calories from protein with no health effects except lots of lean mass.

How does the scientific evidence weigh display negative consequences of Dairy, Legumes, and Grains?
Where is the comparative research rivaling macro-profiles of a Paleo Diet and non-Paleo Diets showing? superior effects on Paleo Diets foods?
This lecture was definitely lacking in appropriate proof.

Great vid. This is my 3rd time watching it. I'm trying to get this whole kreb cycle thing, and ketones thing down tight. I've tried this? paleo diet about a week ago and have already started losing weight. Biggest thing is that I feel less hungry. So while I'm eating fatty meats like ribeye steaks, I'm noticing that I'm eating alot less often. Is this due to the protein? Any ways I'm losing weight!!!!! Today I start H.I.T

I don't think ketosis is normal or safe for any extended time period. However the rest of this lecture is amazing and I think this guy really has explained perfectly why we all have issues and even when? we work out hard and change diet we can get nowhere if we eat any processed carbs and even sugars from fruit.

So I am confused. Is he suggesting that low heart rate training has not value? If so he may want to call mark Allen and? lance Armstrong who both use low, slow cardio 90% of the training season to increase speed and endurance.

I've been told I have a slow metabolism (slow oxidizer) and that I need to change my diet from the high fat? low carb diet I'm on to a high carb, low fat diet...can anyone tell me if this will actually help me? I believe in the paleo diet and I don't want to change to eating mainly carbs again...any help?

@supercell42 Hey supercell - what I can tell you is my metabolism kick-started once I completely eliminated refined/processed carbs/sugars, went very-low-carb/high-fat AND started high-intensity interval training.

My metabolism kept increasing and I had to keep upping my caloric intake. I dropped? 100lbs in a year on low-carb/high-fat doing high-intensity-interval training and eating anywhere from 3,200 to 5,000 calories a day (I'm a big guy, needed them.)

@supercell42 BTW, I'm now 46? years young and in the best shape I've ever been in. I'm down to a lean 220lbs (6'3" mesomorph) and can actually now see my abs (not well, but they're there!) for the first time in .... EVER.

It worked great for me. I still eat close to 3,000 calories a day, and myself I keep my carb intake normally 45-60g a day - I need to be that low as a diabetic... not everybody does...
